Polish air cargo freight makes up for only 1% of total European economy. One bigger airport in the West of Europe can service more than tenfold the amount of cargo serviced by Polish airports.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Are there any chances on developing that branch of the economy?<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nAccording to experts, only the two airports located in Warsaw have a chance for meaningful development in the nearest future. What makes the two airports different is the fact that only they operate and service wide-body airplanes. The Warsaw Chopin Airport services the highest amount of cargo of all the Polish airports, that is around 60.000 tons per year.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThat piece of statistics may not mean much on its own, but when you compare it to that of Frankfurt Airport\u2019s (around 2.000.000 tons per year), it starts to make sense. On the other hand, the popularity of German airports can be a big chance for the Polish economy, after all Polish and German economies are strongly related. Experts see it as a chance of development for the economy, as the construction of German airport in Berlin can mean more movement on Polish airports as well.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>Weaknesses and hope of Polish air cargo freight<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nOne of the reasons for the Polish air cargo freight low popularity is the fact that the Polish industry that is not innovative enough. There are products that Poland manufactures and exports to the West, however they are not typically air-transport-grade standards, since most of the products transported by air are high-value goods or technologically-advanced cargo.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nAnother weakness of Polish air cargo is the frail number of available aircraft, but even here you may observe a noticeable increase. Apart from that, Polish airports invest more and more money in developing transport infrastructure. Everything seems to point to one trend \u2013 in the coming years, Polish air cargo transportation is going to grow. The question now is: how quick is the growth going to come about, and whether Polish entrepreneurs will be able to take advantage of the situation.<br \/>\n<!--:--><!--:pl-->Obecnie polski rynek nie nale\u017cy do najwi\u0119kszych, je\u017celi chodzi o transport lotniczy. W odr\u00f3\u017cnieniu od pozosta\u0142ych polskich lotnisk operuj\u0105 na nich samoloty szerokokad\u0142ubowe. Opr\u00f3cz tego w Warszawie dochodzi do najwi\u0119kszego prze\u0142adunku na polskich lotniskach (ok. 60 tys. ton rocznie).<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nOczywi\u015bcie, je\u017celi por\u00f3wnamy to z lotniskiem we Frankfurcie, kt\u00f3ry prze\u0142adowuje ok. 2 mln ton towar\u00f3w rocznie, to zdamy sobie spraw\u0119 z r\u00f3\u017cnicy skali. Jednak z drugiej strony popularno\u015b\u0107 niemieckich lotnisk mo\u017ce by\u0107 du\u017c\u0105 szans\u0105 dla polskiego rynku, w ko\u0144cu nasze gospodarki s\u0105 ze sob\u0105 silnie powi\u0105zane. Eksperci widz\u0105 spor\u0105 szans\u0119 dla naszego rynku w powstaj\u0105cym porcie lotniczym w Berlinie, kt\u00f3rego budowa mo\u017ce zwi\u0119kszy\u0107 ruch transportowy na polskich lotniskach.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<strong>S\u0142abo\u015bci i nadzieje polskiego rynku lotniczego cargo<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nPowodem niskiej popularno\u015bci polskiego rynku lotniczego transportu jest nasz s\u0142aby, ma\u0142o innowacyjny przemys\u0142.
