Why is it like that? It is worthy to take a closer look.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThere are various reasons for it, some of them more real than others. PKP Cargo blames the government for supporting the road transport for the situation, and it has been voiced as such by Maciej Lubiszewski, CEO of PKP Cargo during the European Economic Congress in Katowice. During his speech, we could also here other reasons, e.g. the relatively lower costs of surcharges for trucks. In this case, the vignette cost for road transport costs around 27PLN per day, whereas when it comes to railroad carriages, the same cost can even reach the numbers 16 to 17 times higher of around 476PLN per day.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nOther problems include the fact that frequent renewal and repairs of long-distance railroad tracks, variating between 100 and 400 kilometers. What is more, PKP Cargo does have a grudge with Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), that keeps on penalizing PKP, and the costs sometimes reach 60-80million PLN.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nAnother problem is the problem with efficient management \u2013 it does not exist, since the managing directors\u2019 board is made from old-fashioned, anachronistic, PPR managers that choose not to get acquainted with newer methods and means of management.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nHowever, there is one interesting fact concerning the subject \u2013 PKP Cargo also invests in truck fleet that is meant to eventually become a support to the main PKP Cargo railroad transport \u2013 the aim is to provide as complex services as possible. It is also worth to note that there are chances waiting to be exploited, for example the new agreement between PKP Cargo with Tauron and Enea.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nIt is very muh possible that because of some changes made to the company, it will manage on the internal market. The important question is, will it be able to compete with neighboring countries? W ich przypadku dzienny koszt przejazdu w systemie winietowym w tym wypadku wynosi 27z\u0142 za dzie\u0144, w przypadku poci\u0105g\u00f3w towarowych jest ona nawet 16-17 krotnie wy\u017csza i wynosi 476z\u0142 za dob\u0119.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJako inne problemy transportu kolejowego wskazuje si\u0119 r\u00f3wnie\u017c cz\u0119ste remonty tor\u00f3w na du\u017cych odcinkach. W skrajnych przypadkach trasa potrafi si\u0119 wtedy wyd\u0142u\u017cy\u0107 nawet z np. 100km do 400km. Dodatkowo warto zauwa\u017cy\u0107, \u017ce PKP Cargo posiada problemy z UOKiKiem \u2013 kt\u00f3ry nak\u0142ada na nie spore kary rz\u0119du nawet 60-80mln z\u0142.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nInnym problemem jaki dotyka polskiego transportu kolejowego s\u0105 wieloletnie problemy ze skutecznym zarz\u0105dzaniem \u2013 winna jest skostnia\u0142a post PRL-owska kadra managerska, kt\u00f3ra nie zna nowoczesnych metod zarz\u0105dzania.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nCo ciekawe g\u0142\u00f3wny gracz na naszym rynku czyli PKP Cargo inwestuje we flot\u0119 samochodow\u0105, kt\u00f3ra b\u0119dzie wsparciem dla PKP Cargo \u2013 tak aby ta firma mog\u0142a \u015bwiadczy\u0107 kompleksowe us\u0142ugi. Nale\u017cy zwr\u00f3ci\u0107 uwag\u0119, \u017ce przed liderem polskiego transportu kolejowego jawi\u0105 si\u0119 pewne szanse \u2013 nie dawno zosta\u0142y podpisane du\u017ce kontrakty z Tauronem oraz Ene\u0105.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nBardzo mo\u017cliwe, \u017ce dzi\u0119ki pewnym zmianom PKP Cargo poradzi sobie w ramach naszego wewn\u0119trznego rynku.
