The point of its construction is to link Berlin and Stockholm specifically, and the section below the Baltic would be a whopping 100km long. The project for the investment is being carried out by valued specialists from companies such as Skanska. The estimated cost of that construction oscillates around 12 billion Euros, and as we know \u2013 in case of such investments \u2013 that cost will most probably rise.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nNorwegians are also interested in taking part in the project; according to the Norwegians themselves, the railroad should be transcontinental and should link together cities such as Oslo, Goteborg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Prague, Berlin, Munich and Venice. That would also mean an even more costly investment. Financing such an investment and logistics would have to be divided by the countries mentioned above. It is also estimated that private assets would have to make up at least part of the total investment, and that could also potentially gain from its construction.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe construction of the railway line between Germany and Sweden could have a huge impact on the transport between those two countries. It is also worth to take a look at the subject from the Polish point of view \u2013 it could be a chance for PKP Cargo, along with other transportation companies, to create a stable link to Berlin and Stockholm , and possibly other countries.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nFor the moment, the longest underwater tunnel is more than 50km long, and is situated in Japan, linking two islands \u2013 Honshu and Hokkaido.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<!--:--><!--:pl-->W Szwecji i Niemczech powstaje ciekawa koncepcja \u2013 powstania najd\u0142u\u017cszego na \u015bwiecie tunelu kolejowego \u0142\u0105cz\u0105cego obydwa te pa\u0144stwa.
