It is generally said that the workers from the East are cheaper to employ, but that is not always the decisive factor. Polish transport includes almost 100 thousand companies that offer road transport services, and in those companies more than 250 thousand drivers are employed.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nAccording to the Independent Self-governing Professional Union Solidarity, the  decificit of drivers oscillates around the number of 50.000, and that fact has been mentioned on the last press conference of the Association of International Road Carriers. The main factor that caused it seems to be the fact that EU countries gladly take advantage of Polish transport companies, and that is mostly because of their low cost of services. Another reason for the poor situation could be high requirements for the function of a truck driver. The requirements include knowledge of international law, customs, financial and security rules, plus the way of fastening the cargo on the truck. In the past, many drivers were educated by the military, vocational schools or governmental institutions such as PKS.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nIn 2015, a new phenomenon appeared \u2013 the function of driver-mechanic has been resurrected, and that means a possibility of solving the constant problem of not having enough truck drivers on the market. However, students can freely choose to attend courses for the B-category, but they would have to apply for a C-category themselves. That in turn means that the interest of potential future drivers will be lower, and subcontractors know that drivers themselves earn substantial amount of money as it is.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDuring the press conference, an interesting idea has been proposed \u2013 a two-level education by schools within  the industry. Students would earn a title of driver-mechanic with C-cate. The second level would include the C+E category, and when the student reaches 21 years of age (the age necessary to become a driver), he would already have the necessary skills to do the job. Hope lies in the education system \u2013 to respond to the Polish transportation market\u2019s needs.<br \/>\n<!--:--><!--:pl-->Zatrudnianie pracownik\u00f3w zza wschodniej granicy zago\u015bci\u0142o w naszym kraju na dobre. Powszechnie si\u0119 s\u0105dzi, \u017ce jest to pracownik ta\u0144szy, ale nie to jest czynnikiem decyduj\u0105cym.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nPolska bran\u017ca transportowa to blisko 100 ty\u015b. firm oferuj\u0105cych us\u0142ugi przewozu drogowego, pracuje w nich ponad 250 tys. kierowc\u00f3w. Jednak, jak podano na konferencji prasowej &#8220;Brak kierowc\u00f3w zagro\u017ceniem dla polskiego transportu drogowego&#8221; zorganizowanej przez ZMPD w Polsce oraz Krajow\u0105 Sekcj\u0119 Transportu Drogowego NSZZ &#8220;Solidarno\u015b\u0107&#8221;, deficyt na kierowc\u00f3w kategorii C i C+E wynosi 50 ty\u015b os\u00f3b.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nCzynnikiem, kt\u00f3ry wp\u0142yn\u0105\u0142 na tak du\u017ce zapotrzebowanie bran\u017cy jest fakt, i\u017c kraje UE ch\u0119tnie korzystaj\u0105 z us\u0142ug polskich firm transportowych, a to za spraw\u0105 niskich cen us\u0142ug. Drugim powodem braku wykwalifikowanej kadry s\u0105 wysokie wymagania co do tego\u017c stanowiska, poniewa\u017c kierowca powinien zna\u0107 przepisy mi\u0119dzynarodowe, celne, finansowe oraz zasady bezpiecze\u0144stwa i mocowania przewo\u017conych \u0142adunk\u00f3w.Niegdy\u015b wielu kierowc\u00f3w kszta\u0142ci\u0142o wojsko czy szko\u0142y zawodowe przy pa\u0144stwowych przedsi\u0119biorstwach jak np. PKS.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nDu\u017c\u0105 szans\u0105 na uzupe\u0142nienie brak\u00f3w kadry w bran\u017cy transportowej jest odrodzenie zawodu kierowca &#8211; mechanik, kt\u00f3re nast\u0105pi\u0142o w 2015 roku. Jednak uczniowie maj\u0105 do dyspozycji tylko kurs kategorii B, a kategori\u0119 C musieliby uzyska\u0107 z w\u0142asnej inicjatywy. Powoduje to mniejsze zainteresowanie w\u015br\u00f3d potencjalnych kierowc\u00f3w &#8211; przewo\u017anik\u00f3w, kt\u00f3rzy doskonale sobie zdaj\u0105 spraw\u0119, i\u017c zaw\u00f3d ten jest dobrze wynagradzany.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nJak podano na konferencji, rozwi\u0105zaniem problemu kszta\u0142cenia, m\u00f3g\u0142by sta\u0107 si\u0119 dwustopniowy poziom edukacji, czyli szko\u0142y bran\u017cowe, w kt\u00f3rych uczniowie zdobywaliby zaw\u00f3d kierowca &#8211; mechanik z prawem jazdy kat. C, realizuj\u0105c I stopie\u0144. Natomiast w II stopniu dostawaliby mo\u017cliwo\u015b\u0107 uzyskania kategorii C+E. Nast\u0119pnie do osi\u0105gni\u0119cia wymaganego przepisami wieku, tj. 21 lat, przysz\u0142y kierowca uzyska\u0142by do\u015bwiadczenie i wiedz\u0119 niezb\u0119dn\u0105 wykwalifikowanemu pracownikowi.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nCa\u0142a nadzieja w systemie edukacji, kt\u00f3ry w tym momencie powinien odpowiedzie\u0107 na zapotrzebowanie polskiej bran\u017cy transportowej.<\/p>\n<p><!--:--><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Employment of workers from the East seems to have become a standard in Poland.
